Avery Sunshine

Avery Sunshine combines R&B, jazz and soul in the style that is his own. She has appeared on stages all over the world, from Broadway through The Democratic National Convention to the European music scene and the club scenes. Sunshine is the daughter of Denise White. Even though she lives in Atlanta now, Sunshine is originally from Chester Pennsylvania. In Chester Pennsylvania she started out as a musician singing and playing in the church in town. After graduation from Spellman College, Atlanta she started her journey in music on Atlanta's R&B culture. Since then, it has been re-mixed and is now component of her set. She also lent her voice to the soundtrack of The Fighting Temptations. In 2005, she was employed as the lead keyboardist for Tyler Perry's stage show Meet the Browns. Jennifer Holliday, who won Tony and Grammy Awards for her singing and her music, invited Sunshine to sing in the Dreamgirls show during Atlanta's National Black Arts Festival. Sunshine was at the center of attention for the nation during four performances per day at 2008's Democratic National Convention. Sunshine followed up with being requested to sing with the President Barack Obama at his inauguration.
