Kelly Michelle Stables grew up in St. Louis in Missouri. She was a member of The Muny Opera. The University of Missouri Columbia awarded her a BA (with honors) in Communications and Theatre. Upon moving to Los Angeles she quickly got involved in theatre arts, acting and choreographing in over 2 dozen plays and musical productions like The Little Foxes Brady Bunch: The Musical Peter Pan at the Thousand Oaks Civic Light Opera as well as 7 lead roles at LA's award winning Storybook Theatre. Kelly started landing TV and film roles as she was studying the art of improvisation in the group The Groundlings. She also was a part of Theatre West. Her distinct voice and diminutive height has let her perform a range of characters. Her name was well-known to the general public for playing the role of the evil Samara along with Naomi Watts, in The Ring 2. However her most well-known role is for her bright and cheerful receptionist who worked at Two and a Half Men. Kelly was a regular on TV the sitcom of Land The Exes between 2011 and 2015. Kelly played Kelly as the paralegal by night and as a party-hopper during the late at night. In addition, Kelly played the sassy sister of Alyssa on ABC's Romantically Challenged. On the CW's No Tomorrow she portrayed the stress-stricken suburban mom. She's lent her soprano singing voice to a variety of cartoons like Doc McStuffins Tom & Jerry and Sofia the First. Recent appearances include her as the lovable, dim Cloud 9 employees on NBC's super-hit comedy Superstore. She leads a tranquil private life, with her husband and two small children and enjoys sewing writing as well as volunteering for school activities.
